Frank and Anneloes Captein represent the BGO and Johan van Ruiten together with his wife Sandra Kloppenburg represent the BLT. They are assisted by volunteers Martin Warmerdam, Pieter Merkus, Miriam Offermans, Harry Schonewille, Evert Schönhage and Marjolein Kooistra.
Moreover, as the new world champion of the Concours Mondial du Meilleur Fromager, Evert Schönhage, will lead the Taste Workshop 'Netherlands: Cheese from the Polders' with the Ark of the Taste cheeses: BGO, BLT, Boeren Edammer, Fries-Zeeland sheep's cheese, supplemented by the soft goat cheese of Doetie Trinks. She is present at the invitation of Slow Food International because of the theme 'Natural is possible'. The BGO and BLT will also be found in the Great Hall of Cheese.
During this four-day event in an Italian medieval town south of Turin, more than 300,000 importers, retailers, chefs, consumers, interested parties and other professional interested parties will pass a wide variety of stalls selling cheese, meat and vegetable products and producers. Here they gain many new knowledge, ideas and relationships.
